1. How to enable cheats in Sims 4
You will need to open the cheat box.
- If you’re on PC, press Ctrl+ Shift + C on your keyboard.
- If you’re on Mac, press Command + Shift + C on your keyboard.
- If you’re on PS4 or Xbox One console, press all four triggers.
Then take a look at your screen. You should see a new dialog box (most probably at the top left corner of your screen).
Type this: testingcheats true
Hit enter.
Now that you have enabled cheats, you will need to enter the actual cheat code. In this case, it’s Sims 4 build cheat code.
2. Enter the Sims 4 build cheat codes
There are several cheat codes. Each of them has a different purpose. So, pick the one that you need.
If you want to edit or build on locked lots, the cheat code is bb.enablefreebuild

If you want to build with environment objects (such as trees) the cheat code is bb.showliveeditobjects

If you want to move objects freely wherever you want, the cheat code is bb.moveobjects
After enabling the bb.moveobjects and hitting enter, do you want to change the elevation of the object? If so, select the object, then press 9 to elevate it or press 0 to lower it.
If you want to buy any home in the game, the cheat code is FreeRealEstate On
Sims 4 building mode hack
There are more things that you can do to make your building mode so much fun, but they’re not actual cheat codes. You will need a keyboard to do this so if you’re playing The Sims 4 on PC, consider trying these ideas!
If you want to make objects bigger, select the item, then press shift + ]
If you want to make objects smaller, select the item, then press shift + [
If you want to place objects outside the grid and rotate the object freely, select the item and hold down the alt button
If you want to manipulate roof shapes, click the roof and press shit + C
